Prepare a survival kit
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has a Prepare a Survival Kit Checklist which will help you to act quickly in an emergency.

Contact Cockburn State Emergency Service -SES or South Coogee Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade for information on how to prepare in the case of an emergency or to volunteer.
ABC Radio (720AM) broadcasts up-to-date information on bushfire and other emergencies.
